Beyond supporting healthy ecosystems, The Farm provides diverse and dynamic community programming creating year-round opportunities for education, authentic interactions with nature, and lasting social connections.

Farm to Fork

Showcase Farm Plaza

At Newfield Farm, Showcase Farm Plaza delivers a vibrant hub of activity, offering fresh produce, artisanal goods, and a lively atmosphere. It’s a place where the community comes together to enjoy and support locally-owned businesses. So, grab your neighbor and come celebrate local culture, craftsmanship, and pick up some fresh produce to star in your family’s next favorite dish.

The Barn

The Barn at Newfield Farm will soon house many events and gatherings designed to bring people together including educational programming and hands-on workshops. Aside from events being offered by Newfield, residents have the opportunity to reserve this venue for their own personal gatherings.

The Harvest House CSA Building

A place for residents and the local community to come together. Here the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) provides programs for the local community to access Newfield Farm and other local farms and artisans’ produce and products. In addition, the retail store offers fresh products, including a packing room with space to clean and prep veggies, so visitors can easily take a piece of the farm home. Members of the CSA can visit The Harvest House weekly to receive a bountiful box of seasonal produce harvested right from the farm. In turn, membership provides the Farm with valuable support to begin the planting and growing process.

Community Farm Plots

Gather here with your neighbors to tend to individual plots inside the community garden, where the farm will provide the tools and seeds to improve your green thumb as a part of our Farm Club. It’s the ideal venue for growing flowers, herbs, vegetables, and fruits, serving as the perfect extension of your home.

Educational Programming

From community events and workshops to educational tours, Newfield Farm provides various opportunities for the community to learn and experience sustainable practices. Learn all about plants, growing cycles, the benefits of fresh produce and herbs, and sustainable farming.

Volunteer

Join in and give back to the community by participating in the hands-on volunteer opportunities at Newfield Farm. Connect with neighbors and learn about sustainable farming practices while protecting the natural environment around the community.

Crop Program

Residents will be able to join our recurring crop share program. Benefit from fresh, seasonal produce, while supporting agriculture and local farming. This program fosters a connection between residents and their food sources, enhancing community engagement and appreciation for local farming practices.
